| Earnest Milburn "Ernie" Simerly was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on 12 December 1938, the son of John Wilder Simerly and his wife Etherl Woodby. Ernie graduated from Science Hill High School in the Class of 1956. He married Evelyn Faye Case in Arlington, Virginia on 1 March 1958. Ernie died on 3 June 1968, and is buried in the Monte Vista Cemetery, Washington County, Tennessee. |
